Goodbye Sleepy Bear
Not sure who this band was that played before us but they did an amazing version of Summertime with this lovely young lady on ukulele.
We really enjoyed our set, the warm crowd and the wonderful vibe of the festival. So long Sleepy Bear! Hope to see you next year.
Double JJ Ranch
Stopped off at the Double JJ Ranch on the way to Lake Ann. Packing up the wagon and heading north to Lake Ann to play our 530 set at The Sleepy Bear Music Festival.

Chamberlin’s Old Forest in is so amazing it defies all reason. Our first night here was spent singing, swimming in the lake at sunset, eating fresh whitefish and shooting the breeze with Kelly and some other folks on the front porch. A few snaps from the trip so far. More tomorrow!

Pack up the family for a picturesque road trip to Chamberlain’s Old Forest Inn, along the bluff of Big Manistique Lake. We will be there singing in the evenings and relaxing under waterfalls during the day. July 13th and 14th!

Iris Dement on Radio Heartland
